About the Reverend Doctor Wolfe:
Who is this Biblenerd?

When not going by my "Biblenerd" alias, my name is Lisa Michele Wolfe, and I completed my Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and Northwestern University's joint program in Religious and Theological Studies in July of 2003. I earned my Master of Divinity degree at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH, and my undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Over the years, I have had a variety of titles, including "Professor of Old Testament," "Pastor," "Dean of the Lay School," "Church Camp Director," "Children's Hospital Chaplain," "Christian Education Director," "Youth Minister," "Camp Counselor," and (a little-known fact) "Dental Assistant." I am an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ and I currently work as Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible at Oklahoma City University.
